Richard D. Smith is founder and CEO of SMITH-TRG where he leads all client engagement activities from relationship development to execution and results delivery. He serves as ‘trusted business-advisor’ to several of the world’s most innovative brand recognized companies - from small to large - operating in and around the digital-media ecosystem.
Richard brings to clients' over 25 years of enterprise leadership, consulting, and business development management experience in start-up, pre/post IPO and Global 200 (CSC, MCI, IBM) operating environments -- across industries, international markets, and technologies -- enabling stakeholders to capitalize on anticipated changes in customer priorities and their competitive landscape.
Richard also serves as CEO at iPopped Digital-Media, a digital-media consulting and venture development firm; Chairman and chief spokesperson at U.S. Road To Recovery LLC, a for proft social good enterprise focused on building 21st Century competitive U.S. businesses; and is Director at The Patriots Project a pro-bono private sector initiative he founded in 2007 to directly assist 'Wounded-Warriors' recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Richard earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business from Strayer College and served honorably in the U.S. Army.
